Community Service
Wow! What a season it has been! Between competitions we have had many days where we encouraged the community to come join us and learn how robotics and stem can boost academics, team skills, and fun! Through these programs our kids have learned to become public speakers and leaders in their field. We gave a presentation at Aberdeen Heights retirement apartments to a group of seniors who were very eager to see what 4h has been doing. From there we moved on to the Saint louis County Library for a fun Saturday, filled with demonstrations, and hands on activities. At the end of our season we offered an open house where kids could come in to our group and watch how we problem solve, design, create, build, and program to reach our goals. I think the last was our favorite because we could share our clubs activities on site!
